WRITING
As a journalism student at the University of Missouri, I have had extensive experience writing. I took over 10 writing-intensive courses during my time at school and have written numerous papers, articles, scripts, text pieces, and more. Below are some samples of my writing. KBIA (91.3 FM) is a NPR-affiliated radio station in Columbia, Missouri. I served as a reporter to cover local news in the mid-Missouri region in the spring of 2012 and the fall of 2013. I served as a reporter and produced biweekly radio packages and in depth stories on local, current events. I pitched story ideas, conducted interviews, gathered audio, scripted, edited and voiced complete packages to air in the morning news broadcast.

For a year in college, I maintained multiple blogs for my classes. One blog covered St. Louis, Missouri sports and the other is about other blogs that I like and that reflect my passions in life.
